Danielle Sommer Kieta is the Policy Director for Homes For All Massachusetts, a statewide coalition of grassroots housing justice organizations working to halt displacement and advance community control of land. This work centers on tenants and communities most impacted by the housing crisis to advance equitable housing solutions through policy strategy, legislative advocacy, and coalition engagement.

Danielle brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. She has been deeply involved in fair housing advocacy, working alongside community members, organizers, and policymakers to advance policies that promote stability, prevent displacement, and expand access to affordable housing. Her work focuses on building systems that ensure housing is treated as a human right and that communities have a meaningful voice in decisions that shape their neighborhoods.

In addition to her policy leadership, Danielle is an active community member and dedicated parent of four. Her personal experiences navigating housing and community systems inform her commitment to advancing practical, people-centered solutions. She is driven by a belief that strong, stable communities depend on equitable housing policies and sustained grassroots leadership.
