Hannah Osborn
Design & Construction Intern
hannah@bostonfoodforest.org
Hannah’s role at BFFC is to support food forest design, construction, and community engagement through visual storytelling and the generation of compelling maps. By organizing and overlaying city temperature data, green spaces, and census information, Hannah can pinpoint potential food forest sites and prepare community engagement materials to support project evolution.
Some of Hannah’s favorite experiences are the sounds of crashing waves, the smell of a summer rain, and the satisfaction you feel after a long day of being outside. Growing up between New Hampshire and Rhode Island, she appreciates the variety of nature she had access to as a child, and believes that all people deserve local access to enjoyable outdoor experiences. Through her work with BFFC, Hannah aims to contribute to the growth of Boston’s urban park network and support the people who deserve and desire accessible green space.
Outside of work Hannah is pursuing her Master of Landscape Architecture degree at Boston Architectural College. She first encountered BFFC in 2023 while volunteering and later met Liz in 2024 during a school field trip to Savin Hill Wildlife Garden, an encounter that eventually led to her internship.
When not at work or school, Hannah enjoys spending time with her loved ones, painting, playing video games, and admiring her two cats, Pesto & Miso.
