Mint Plant Variety Workshop

  • Savin Hill Wildlife Garden 410 Savin Hill Avenue Boston, Massachusetts, 02125 United States (map)

Discover the mint plant family at the Savin Hill Wildlife Garden! Join us for a hands-on evening of planting, tasting, and learning with herbalist Lauren Almquist of Heartspace Herbals.

We’ll explore the vibrant Mint (Lamiaceae) family, a powerhouse group of plants abundant in our food forests.

Through a garden tour with hands-on planting time, you’ll discover how to identify key mint-family plant characteristics, understand their ecological roles, and get your hands in the dirt!

The workshop will also feature a taste test of various dried teas from mint family plants.

This event is open to all of any age who are curious about the nature around them.
