Winter Pruning Workshop at the Upham’s Corner Food Forest

  • Uphams Corner Food Forest 11 Everett Ave Boston, MA 02125 United States (map)

Learn the *why* behind winter pruning, as well as the methods, approaches, considerations, and tools needed. This two and a half hour workshop will be a mix of explanation, demonstration, and hands-on practice. No experience is necessary. Just bring your pruning questions, and a pair of garden gloves if you have them! There will be light refreshments provided to keep us warm.

This workshop will be led by Ben Crouch of Land of Plenty Organics. Ben has been teaching tree pruning with BFFC for years, and is an expert in fruit tree care and maintenance.

Please note that this is the first of 4 winter pruning workshops scheduled this February with Ben Crouch! If you can’t attend this workshop, consider another one of the workshops posted on our calendar.

Please reach out to cassidy@bostonfoodforest.org with any questions.

* Rain date is Next Saturday, 2/14, at 10am
