Valerie Godhwani

Board Director

Valerie is an independent marketing and strategy consultant who has spent much of her career helping organizations grow their impact. After beginning her career in the private sector, she transitioned to focusing primarily on nonprofit and purpose-driven organizations, where she applies her business experience to strengthen strategy, communications, and organizational growth.

She currently serves as Co-President of The Philanthropy Connection and Board Chair of RIA, Inc., and has supported numerous nonprofits through pro bono consulting and volunteer leadership. Valerie is deeply committed to advancing social justice and strengthening community-based solutions that address systemic inequities.

Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
