Interested in volunteering at the Boston Nature Center Food Forest? Join the stewardship team throughout the growing season every Wednesday at 6pm to sundown at the food forest.

Show up when you can! If you need to show up late or leave a bit early, we’d still encourage you to join. Normal workdays start with some weeding as people arrive. After that, we’ll get our hands dirty with some projects in the food forest. Projects may include weeding, watering, planting... and eating plants!

All supplies including gloves will be provided. Please bring water and some clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

If you’re a new volunteer we encourage you to explore the food forest and take note of the plants, nature, and environment around you; what do you notice? what senses are you using? The Boston Nature Center Food Forest is a large space with lots to enjoy - take it all in and don’t be afraid to ask questions.

All skill levels are welcome. No registration necessary!
