Join us for a sweet afternoon of community, learning, and local flavors! This time of year, the Ellington Street Community Food Forest is flourishing with fresh fruits of all kinds! As our Strawberries, Goumi berries, Currants, and Juneberries reach peak ripeness, we’re celebrating with an event fun for all ages!
We'll teach you how to identify and harvest ripe fruits, do some taste testing, and show you how you can preserve the flavor and color of these fruits by making jams or syrups.
Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just love fresh fruit, there’s something for everyone!
